NHL: 2005-2006 Blues -Top 2 Bottom

Now with their record 25 straight years of making the playoffs ended, they figured they should round off the whole fairy tale by coming in DEAD FUCKING LAST this year, 21-46-15 (57pts). There’s no excuses to give. The Blues are verteran type team. In the end off careers now-a-days, moves are made for more money or a shot at the cup. It’s hard to keep a veteran team together, let alone make one that can keep up with younger players. Here’s a small list proving my point.

Chris Pronger (12 years) now in EDM
Pavol Demitra (11 years) now in LA
Scott Mellanby (19 years) now in ATL
Al MacInnis (23 years) now retired
Keith Tkachuk (13 years) still in STL
Patrick Lalime (9 years) still in STL
Scott Young (17 years) resigned back with STL
Michael Sillinger (13 years, 7 teams) in STL now
Dallas Drake (13 years) still in STL
Doug Weight (14 years) left to CAR

I don’t know what to watch now. The Blues suck, finished 30th, and someone forgot to tell Ovechkin with his 52 goals and 54 assists, that the Caps are still in 27th place overall. There’s always next year, right? Riiiiight.

Lucky Number Sleven (2006)

Lucy Liu in all her whitness. Bruce Willis in another movie where he holds a gun 50% of the time. Josh Hartnett is just their to annoy me but, he was OK in this movie. This movie is about this guy Sleven and how “lucky” he is, hence the title. First off, you gotta love any movie with two bad guys, Morgan Freeman & Ben Kingsley. This movie plays out well and fits together tight in the end even though the whole movie looks randomly placed together. Check out this movie, in the sea of crappy movies over advertising, this movie is going to get looked over.

Scary Movie 4 (2006)

Is it me, oh wait it is, it’s just me. I’m fucking sick of these movies now. I hear people saying, “thank movie looks funny as hell”, “I wanna go see that”, “I’m gonna go see it”. I saw it. Eh.

16 Blocks (2006)

Bruce Willis, some fat cop. Mos Def, some guy with a cake. This was a good movie but, the end lacked everything to make it a great movie. It just didn’t have that twist you wanted and that had many opportunities to twist this movie inside out, they just didn’t.

USPS Tracking

Why is this “system” even in place? It doesn’t work. I think it updates the location of the package AFTER it’s delivered. Which last I remember thats not what “to track” means. Basiclly it tells you when the package was sent, then you’ll see the package at your home before USPS knows it’s there. I see this as an good enough tracking if you sent someone something but not if you’re on the recieving end. Is this an example of another thing the government can’t do right? Then they want to raise stamp prices? For what? To compensate for the lack of mail sent now-a-days? Maybe if the USPS was any kinda of fast or accurate. I thought prices were only raised in supply and demand type of situations. Junk mail, bill collectors and magazines are the only reason the USPS is still running. There’s no clever solution to this, either do it right or don’t do it at all.
