So we just got back from our road trip to NoVA a couple weeks ago. I love the Cobalt! We filled up four times at $20-$25 each fill-up, each way. I have the digital info center on my dash, and the highest mpg I got was 38! incredible. highway miles are the best.

I dunno. Flying would had been faster and almost the same price with less miles put on your car. But, 38 miles is nice to see.
not really…about the flying thing. i looked into prices, airline tix cost about $250-$300 each. whereas gas, we only spent about $90 each way. so compare a minimum of $500 for two airline tix to $180 for gas. much better price. plus i like road trips.
You need to plan on buying plane tickets earlier. I’m sure the was a $95 round-trip special at some point from airport A to airport B on a Thurday-Monday type trip.
hmmm…thx for the advice….
unfortunately we didn’t even plan on going up there until about a month before hand, and tix were already expensive then, so we just thought we would drive.
plus it gave us the opportunity to figure our course for when we go to bristol next year for nascar.
