Do you even know how silly 395 is? I checked the traffic before I left home this morning and 395 was green all the way up A.K.A. clear. So I took the chance of taking it. It took me maybe under 15 minutes to get to work this morning. That’s West Springfield to Crystal City at around 8:45 AM.
They need to figure out a way we can make 395 less traveled? More telecommuters, extended Metro systems, or something.
Once again brings me to my [url=http://www.crashed.net/forum/thread.cgi?thread_id=1606]rant about the Virginia Abusive Driver Fees[/url]. We don’t need more money (ie more taxes/fees) for transportation. We need less transportation and what travel is required to be faster. If half of the tech workers in DC were allowed to telecommute 2 days out of the week and drive to work at 80mph traffic as we currently know it would go away.
