I've been noticing irrational road behavior for a week or so, myself.

I watched a guy attempt a U-turn in stopped traffic next to the bowling alley on 236. I guess he was trying to get to the bank, behind the other 16 cars with the same idea.

I witnessed an 80-year-old's 75 point turn at the gas station while waiting to pay $3.99 for gas. People were actually crowding this one gas station for "cheap" gas. Side note: it wasn't my intention to wait in line to save a few pennies on gas, I was afraid I was about to run out and I wasn't sure where another gas station was.

The world would be a much better place if most jobs didn't require us to place ourselves physically outside of our homes to perform them. There are many people on the road who just have no business being there. Thats cool, not everyone has to be a good driver, I'm an awful cabaret singer/dancer and as such, do not do it. Ever. Yet if I had to be a good cabaret dancer to get to work I'd really piss off some high-kicking french girls every morning. We've outgrown our need to go into work every day, but management doesn't have a handle on that yet. I think this is principally for management to maintain control of its people with its obvious lack of legitimate skill/knowledge they have to parade around in suits and give orders and action items. Meh, I just turned this into another rant about business management.
