I get like 10 spams a day. I usually just “empty” them when I check my email. Today, one of them did their job. I clicked and read the email. How did they sucker me into reading their spam about free government subsidies and how I could learn how to use them? With a subject line like “Truckload of dead puppies”. That’s how.

It was suggested to me, on Sunday, that we go to a matinee showing of The X Files. I figured, “Meh, matinees are always cheaper than seeing the flick in the evening…” so off we went to the theater. In Georgetown. $10 for parking. $17 tickets. $11 popcorn and a large coke. That’s $38 total … for an X Files movie that shed absolutely no light what-so-ever on anything related to the X Files mythos. No alien invasion stuff, no hints to the whereabouts of Mulder’s sister though she was mentioned, only once or twice, in an obligatory context …

It went something like this:

A paedophile priest has visions of a missing FBI agent. They contact Scully, who’s working at a hospital to contact Mulder and have him help the FBI with the investigation. She goes to see him. They hang out with the FBI, the paedophile priest, at some point Mulder and Scully have sex but you don’t get to watch …. yadda yadda yadda …. more women are missing ….. there’s a pool ….. dogs barking …. Scully argues with Mulder about his obsession and she wants to break up with him …. Mulder uncovers a group of former soviet scientists who are cutting people’s heads off and putting them onto other people’s bodies …. their lab is guarded by a two headed pit bull …. or, it might have been a rottweiler with two heads one of which was a pit bull …. Mulder gets trapped there, Scully calls in Skinner, they shut the lab down, save a recent girl these men had kidnapped …. And then Scully cures a kid of a brain disorder he had with stem cell therapy ….

The Efficient V6 which boasts 302 horsepower and 27 MPG on the highway or still the preferred V8 model which has a much more preferred 422 horsepower and a not much lower 23 MPG on the highway. Doesn’t seem like that big of a difference for so much more.

…this is the moped I picked up this weekend. Pretty fun to ride so far. Uphill kinda blows. I was stuck on Old Keen going uphill at about 10 mph. I didn’t want to deal with the next hill so I jumped on to Greeley and took the back way home. Still some hills back there but, I “stopped” at all the stop signs. I just need to fix the brakes which aren’t working.

As sugar plums danced in my head, I got an email with my tracking number at 2:46 AM.

I just tracked my package and it was delivered on Wed, 7/23/2008 at 12:38 P.M

17 hour delivery when I expected 3 to 4 days. Shepherdsville, KY to Washington, DC is a 9 1/2 hour drive by car.

I might just buy from there again.

I don’t want invites to your social web site. It’s a web site so you can find people who NEED to talk and chat about crap they think is cool enough to deserve it’s own web site. If I wanted to join, I would had already joined. And trust me, I’d be there before you if I was interested. All that you feel is new to you on the Internet, is months old to me.

Then we have my web site, it’s about llama’s, llama’s that are red.

I didn’t force anyone to sign up with multiple annoying emails. Nor did I need another web site to help me send emails, or “evites”, to all my friends. It seems like more work to get all the email addresses and move them to a different web site, just to send an mass email.

Evites. Now why do you think I would want to come to you event? Since other people will only go based on whom has accepted to join. And why do I need an invite when the event takes place at my house? This has happened more than once, it’s not just one dumbass.

I think I’ll just delete my email address. Or maybe just give out email addresses that would be offensive to those whom ask for my email address.

Jason Taylor enjoyed his first day as a Skin. I don’t know if it’ll make much of a difference on the Skins D. I’ve got nothing against the guy, he’s not a downgrade in any since, I just don’t think he’s an upgrade. He’ll most likely be playing left after being know for playing right. The past couple seasons he’s been on the left.

During training camp today he got questioned a little about his shoes. Since Nike is a little slow on the new burgundy and gold, he had to tap dance in his orange and teals. Also, I’m getting tired of the dancing jokes, unless told by another player.
