So I’ve been hearing about these busts where police have arrested morons who have been plotting to assassinate senator Obama or just high enough with a shitloadTM of weapons and talking about do it. Now, I’m not voting. And, It’s my choice, so fuck off. But mainly because, I really don’t care who the president is either way but, would voting Obama in to office trigger a assassination attempt or multiple ones on Obama’s life?
I know they caught people before they’ve even come close to doing anything, but what about those who have more than 13 teeth and don’t fuel themselves on CMT and Budweiser products?
Black country leaders are not a new concept. Is America ready to accept this? I know a lot of things can change in 50 years but remember, Jackie Robinson was allowed to play in the major leagues in 1947. School desegregation happened in the 60’s and 70’s. Most of us, with a post 1970 birth, don’t know of any differences between races, minus stereotypes, or have seen it only in books. Is all of America non-racist enough to vote in a black president? I’m sad to say, I don’t think so.
Chris Rock said he’d ever become president, he’d appoint a Mexican vice, just to cover his ass from becoming shot.
When it comes down to it. White people can talk a good game. Give praise to Obama for trying and support him in his efforts. But, when that voting booth curtain is drawn, I thinks it’s going to be a whole different story in privacy. So, I guess the first and hardest step is to actually win.
Just so we all know. I don’t condone shooting anyone. Or voting for the majority of us.

Well, I bought a PS3 to play Madden really. Since the PC version was “current-gen”, which be called “previous-gen” because “next-gen” is the “current-gen”. Anyways. It was a good decision on my part because it turns out 08 was the last time PC would see Madden.
Turns out, since I haven’t played any games in some time, minus downloadable demo games, my PS3 has lost the ablitly to read discs. You know… DVD, games, maybe Blu-Ray’s also, I don’t know, I don’t own any Blu-Ray’s.
I guess we had a clue it was broke when Neb tried to play the mosquito catcher installation DVD with no luck in the PS3. I think we just wrote it off as a shitty DVD.
So August 12th comes around. I buy Madden 09 during lunch. I get home to realize it’s not working. Call Sony. They ask for 150 buck. I give them the ol’ thats not fair routine. They don’t care. I call back the next day and give them more money.
The lady on the phone said it would be around 7-9 days of turn around. Hopefully she’s wrong and it’s less. But with me saying that it’ll take over a month.
So, Basically I just wanted to outline the repair process.
08/12 – Called Sony. They ask for $150.
08/13 – Try to find a way to get it fixed for free.
08/14 – Call Sony back. They ask for $150. I give them $150.
08/19 – Receive the Sony coffin. Pack up PS3. Chase down UPS drive.
08/20 – Sony receives PS3. I’m confused of how fast that was.

Please enjoy this year’s annual D&D party and pass along invite to anyone who doesn’t suck. Suggestions for the official drinking game welcome, but if you come dressed as a level 12 wild mage you’re at the wrong party.
24-year-old Angel Pantoja Medina of Puerto Rico apparently told his family that when he passes away, he wants to stand upright through his wake. Well, his family granted his wish. Dressed in a Yankees cap, sunglasses and a gold chain, Angel was mourned by family members while standing tall in his mother’s living room for 3 days.
I mean, he’s dead. How would he know if you didn’t dress him up like an extra in a Jay-Z video. And for 3 days? If that just because she was lazy and didn’t clean up until then?
And just like that, “Mystery Team,” the Derrick movie, is done shooting. …
What happens now? The post-production process: Dan edits, Donald composes the music. The color is tweaked and the sound is edited. It is a grueling process getting it from a bunch of footage to a watchable, funny movie. Then, once it’s done, we take it around and find somebody who wants to release it. It’s going to be a while, but we are excited about the product, and we think you’re going to like it.
Didn’t even realize this was going on since May.

…is all I want on my hamburger. It used to be you had to go to Red Robin to get this off the menu with having to explain to some 16 year kid with an apron how to play Burger Time.
Now it seems a couple more places I’ve gone to lately are catching on. At Red Robin it’s the Royal Red Robin Burger. Lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon and mayo, plus the fried egg. It a go to. Loki would agree.
I went to Ted Montana’s Grill in Crystal City. I looked them up, they have other locations at Ballston, Hoffman and Sterling. Ted’s has what’s know as their Kitchen Sink which comes with grilled ham, mushrooms, onions, a fried egg, bacon and cheese. The only thing that makes this special is your choice between cow and bison. Their cookies are pretty good too.
Recently I went to Glory Days. They now have a Glory Burger. BBQ sauce, fried onion straws, bacon and cheddar, topped with a fried egg. It was fairly decent. I might be a little biased since I’m a big fan of onion straws, too.

…on the cover of Madden 09.
When the latest edition of the football video game franchise is released Tuesday, it will still feature the quarterback in his Green Bay Packers uniform — despite the fact Favre was traded to the New York Jets.
But publisher Electronic Arts said it was releasing a downloadable update to make Favre a Jet in the game, as well as new cover art for anyone who wants it.
“We do not plan to reissue packaging but will offer a free downloadable cover in the coming days on easports.com featuring Brett Favre in a Jets uniform,” EA Sports said in a statement released Thursday. “Fans can print this new cover out and insert it into the case of ‘Madden NFL 09.”‘

EA Sports will release a free downloadable update to the game with the Favre character as a Jet — and any other player who signs as a free agent or moves teams — before the start of the regular season. But “Madden NFL 09″ will be released Tuesday with the Favre character as a Packer on all-time greats team.
The Packers traded their three-time MVP and Super Bowl-winning quarterback to the Jets on Wednesday, ending months of speculation over Favre’s future after he announced he was retiring in March. EA Sports originally unveiled Favre as the cover athlete for the 20th edition of the “Madden” game in April.
EA is sooo lazy. Come on! Recall dem sum bitches. Making me use company paper and ink.

Warning: Spoiler type talk. I dunno, maybe I’m done with Christian Bale as Batman. I heard people talking about how his voice was annoying as the bat. I noticed what they were talking about. And thank God Maggie Gyllenhaal is dead. I hate her, she’s just nasty looking. Not it!
I do like Aaron Eckhart. You might remember him from movies such as, “Thank You for Not Smoking” and “Meet Bill”. But he had that small side role like Sandman in “Spider-Man 3″.
As for the Joker. I thought Heath Ledger did a pretty descent job. I like him early on with his disappearing pencil trick. Also I would had had preferred a little more crazy laughter over tons an tons of lip licking.
I also saw this in IMAX. Which I’ve never seen anything in IMAX so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The city fly overs and some action scenes were full screen but most of the dialog was letterboxed. They should also upgrade the fullscreen IMAX from 4:3 to15:9 or 16:9. As for IMAX, all in all I wasn’t to impressed. I’ll stick with the Director’s Hall.
