Been a minute since I’ve posted about a movie before it comes out. Or even a movie. I saw a trailer to this movie the other day. Seems like a spoof movie that people would enjoy. A lot of big names too. Kelsey Grammer, Robert Davi, Jon Voight, James Woods, Dennis Hopper and Leslie Nielsen. The lead is Kevin Farley, yes, Chris’ brother.

After the iPhone has already been out for a couple months now, Apple finally brings out a new iPod Touch and gives it a price drop. Last week you could buy a 32GB iPhone for $299 but the 32GB iPod Touch was $399. Stupid.

Differences between the 1g and 2g? Nothing big or worth upgrading for. Some Nike+iPod crap, a built-in speaker, and iTunes 8 compatibility. It’s also a little smaller and lighter with a longer battery life. Only and extra hour of video playtime but audio goes from 22 to 36 hours. I think I’ll be OK with a limited 22 hours.

The only other thing I can think of is that there’s a rumor that the 2G might be able to support a microphone.

Couple things I’d like to point out though. Does the MC look tough or gay with his arms around the other guy sitting in front of him. Also, tell me why he says, “Ya’ll arready know da rules. So, we ain gonna waste no time on dat.” and then he proceeds to thus explain the rules. Finally, why does it look like they both forgot to fully memorize their freestyle lines?

I have been trying to wrap up going completely wireless in the house. I got a [url=http://www.netgear.com/Products/RoutersandGateways/RangeMaxWirelessRoutersandGateways.aspx]Netgear Rangemax[/url] which is doing much better than the Juniper 5GT or the Cisco/Linksys wireless router which sucked.

I lost both my NICS in the big storm this summer (the big storm where Neb and I sat out on the porch and drank scotch all day with Lollipops and Baby Lollipops). Yes there was an actual storm, fried an old Linksys wireless, the cable modem and popped both NICS in the two desktops…and yes I had it on a monster surge protector. Anyways, surge protectors don’t do shit when a surge that large comes; hot tip for those of you that don’t know that. Invest in an UPS, that might do better or register your monster surge protector, they provide some insurance for when that happens which you can collect if you aren’t lazy about registering.

I am using [url=http://www.netgear.com/Products/Adapters/GWirelessAdapters/WG111.aspx]Netgear Wireless USB Adaptors[/url] on both desktops and those are fine. So I have been happy with Netgear recently; I have the Wii, PS3, 4 laptops and both desktops connected to the wireless networks and I have no problems.

I got an IOGear 4 port USB KVM and have yet to set that up, but should be done by the end of this week (that would be 4 PC’s as opposed to the 4 port PS/2 KVM which is only 2 PC’s). I have the main desktop (future media server), HP personal laptop with docking station, work laptop with docking station, and got some [url=http://www.BookEndzDocks.com/Docking_Stations-Docking_Station_for_13_MacBook_White.html]Bookendz[/url] for the MAC and should be comfortable controlling all of those from my main work station.

Next to it, I have the volume control for the sound system. I can power up or down the whole system from the switch.

So I was looking at wireless print servers to share the one printer and have found some USB wireless switches in my research. Some can do peripherals (including printers) which is appealing. I have 2 USB external drives a 500Gb and Terabyte for my media server. BTW picked up the Terabyte tonight for $190 at Microcenter (good deal if you people are interested before the sale ends). It would be cool to use something like this to use the externals as network drives.

So, I can’t find many reviews or a product that sounds solid enough, anyone have any experience with this? Got some suggestions or ideas? If I can make that work then I will be completely content with the home office and can hunker down and work from home permanently.

Actually it should be pretty fun. You’ve got classics such as, Suck My Kiss, Give it Away, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Under the Bridge and of course one of my favorites, Breaking the Girl.

Main question is, is it all censored? Cause that wouldn’t kinda suck, just really suck.

I’m also looking forward to watching everyone play They’re Red Hot for the first time. Even more curious to watch C-Tal fail on the lyrics.
