New Joker, Newly Dead
The actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in an apartment building at 421 Broome Street in SoHo, according to the New York City police. Mr. Ledger was 28.

At 3:31 p.m., a masseuse arrived at Apartment 5A in the building for an appointment with Mr. Ledger, the police said. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger unconscious. They shook him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities.

The police said they did not suspect foul play. Officials said pills were found near the body.
Not that I care too much. I never seen a movie of his that I’ve thought that was great. A Knight’s Tale was OK and Lords of Dogtown was decent. For some odd reason I’ve never seen Brokeback.

So, I hope he goes down as a great Joker but I doubt it. Cesar Romero & Jack Nicholson are some pretty big shoes to fill.

Plus, a little side note no one knows, Mark Hamill is the voice of the Joker in the Batman and Superman animated series.

The British Penitration

So this couple in Britain, fell in love, married, and probably consummated the relationship, had there married annulled.

Remember how fun it was to find someone with the same birthday? How about birth date? And it’s all crazy because you’re both from the same area. Then you get to talking about how you guys were both adopted. And how you always wanted a real brother or sister. Yep. Then you have sex, just because you click. Love sets in. Everything is perfect.

“I dunno. Somethng about chu. Uhhh, it’s like you da only one in da world who’s got dat same DNA as me, or something. Ya know?”

Student Get Detention for Using "FoxFire.exe"

I would had just said, “OK, whatever.”, then renamed the EXE to internetexplorer.exe. Would had never known the effin’ difference. Or how about thisisntfirefox.exe or gofuckyourselfmr(s)(teacher).exe.

Some IT people are just stupid. This reminds me of not being able to send .exe’s or .zip’s as attachments on company emails. So, I just changed them to .virus and they went through just fine.

Or, I can’t use Apache because some tool in hasn’t “checked it out and approved it for use”.

Snow!? Don’t Let’s Be Silly!

I had no idea it was supposed to snow today. And in December. What the fuck! Or WTF! for you lazy txt msg asses. Its nice to see snow in DC and it not being March. A light drift all day and slow driving morons at night. To bad it’ll end tonight.

I'm Movin In With My Mom

Yep, that’s right. They kicked me out of my apartment, Chevy Chase froze my bank account, Cingular shut off my cellular service (because the bill didn’t get paid because my bank account was frozen) …

I was this -> ‘___’ close to living in my Honda when my mom said “Hey, why don’t you come and live with us? You’d be able to save money, and after work we could all drink margaritas and play Wii Bowling!”

And I said, “Cool! Thanks!”

So that’s about it. I’m 28 years old, and I’m gonna be living at my mom’s house.

Some people I’ve told are supportive, they say things like “Cool! I wish I could do that!”, “wow, think of all the money you’ll save” or “Right on man, your mom’s cool!” … Others aren’t so supportive. The word “Loser” is peppered liberally throughout their comments about my situation.

Me personally, I don’t know what to think about this whole thing. One the one hand, I was entirely overwhelmed by the series of unfortunate circumstances I found myself in. On the other, I’m grateful that mom is letting me crash at her pad for little more than occasional groceries and a few cases of beer a month.

I’m damn lucky I guess. I’ll try harder not to fuck everything up this time.

Kwik-E-Mart

For the new Simpson’s movie, 7-11 has converted some of there stored to Kwik-E-Marts. One being in Bladensburg, Md. You can get Buzz Cola, KrustyO’s cereal and Squishees but no Duff branded beer.

Mr. Wizard Kicks It (Not Old School)

Don Herbert. 89. Really? I thought he already passed. Last I saw him on TV was about 20 years ago, and I thought he was old then. Then again, everyone is old when you’re 11.

1983-1991, but aired reruns until 2000, making it the longest running show on Nickelodeon. My mom told me she remembered watching the original 50’s show, as reruns of course. Science wasn’t as cool back then. Granted, all they really did was try to prove the world was round, and showed how to fake a moon landing in AZ using an 8mm hand-held camera and some dying batteries. But I digress.

So, If he was so smart, why wasn’t his name Dr. Wizard? Hmmmm? Hmmmm? Ah-ha! I looked up to see if he ever went to college or if he was just some fraud TV schmuck that got lucky. Seems that he was a general science and English major at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse who was interested in drama, which explains the TV part.

How about this for a fun fact- “Flew a B-24 four engine bomber & crew to Italy; Completed 56 bombing missions over Northern Italy, Germany and Yugoslavia during WWII, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with three oak leaf clusters.”

He’s not a kid touching TV host perv, he’s a war hero. I just wonder if his arms are sleeve’d with tattoo’s like Mr. Rogers?

Unmarked Cars

I saw a new one this morning on 495 so I assume it was State. It was a maroon Suburban, an ‘04 i think with tinted windows.

Articulate

Endowed with the power of speech. Composed of distinct, meaningful syllables or words, as human speech. Expressing oneself easily in clear and effective language. Characterized by the use of clear, expressive language. Doesn’t sound like an insult to me.

Why are there groups of people who get offended by this word? Notice how who speaks out about being offended by the word are also well-spoken? Why is it now the plight the educated person to now explain to the uneducated that they might have been insulted but only based off the stereotypes of their said race?

If it’s not a racist issue then what is it? Why is it a problem? Why do we need to here it re-iterated and argued everyday? Please explain it to me.

Look. Crying over persons choice in vocabulary isn’t going to help educate the ignorant. If you don’t think the stereotype is correct/fair/nice. Then help change it. Let me back-up. Every stereotype is correct. That’s what makes it a stereotype, everyone oversimplifying the conception, opinion, or image of everyone else. Majority rules.

Who gains from all these complaints? Who wants to here it? Who really cares? I’ve got the shortest and correct answer, not me.

2,900,000,000,000

Walking into the break room, some broad on CNN is holding a piece of paper with this number printed on it. She was asking people off the street what number it was. Just to let you know, the stereo types were dumber. In which made me roll my eyes when the guy said, and I quote, “29 million?” There’s a fucking comma. How do people not know their mi, bi, tri, quad, quint, sext, sept, oct, non, dec. I’m really shocked I didn’t hear, jillion, kajillion or zillion.

For those of you who are still having the trouble, it’s two trillion nine hundred billion or 2.9 trillion or the really dumb 2.9 million million.
