I hate the Eagles

Well not really, but Dallas sucked last night and its all Jessica Simpson’s fault….

When Tony was dating Carrie Underwood and she showed up at one of the games, he made so many errors and ending up costing Dallas the game….the same is true of yesterday’s game. What’s up with all the interceptions and sacks? Could he not see the Eagles defender charging at him right down the middle of the field? Geez Romo….leave the girls at home and just play the damn game

Vick Gets 20 Years

Well, 20 dog years which equals 23 month.

Why do they keep saying that he’s going to learn a lesson? Does anyone have trouble with understanding that shooting a dog in the face probably isn’t the most human thing to do? Besides retards. And those people who sell guns to retards. And those manages who hire dumb enough employees that would sell a gun to a retard. But I digress.

Was the sentence long enough? Sure why not. I don’t know really. I could care less, he’s a Falcon.

What’s next for him? Say he’s out for three seasons. He could come back to the NFL. I don’t know if the NFL will have open arms. Maybe the CFL? The CFL took in Ricky Williams, although Ricky was just caught smoking pot, like 50 times.

Maybe after Vick gets out, he can call up Vince McMahon and try to start up the XFL again.

Thursday Night Games

WTF is with Thursday night games?? Do they really have to do this? Maybe this should go in the “Rant” forum, but here I go.

There is ONE night a week that I leave work during rush hour, that night is Thursday. Why, for the love of GOD do they have to add to the already second worst traffic in the country by putting a bunch of football game goers on the beltway at rush hour?!?

If you want to play your little game on Thursday, FINE, do it in BFE where no one cares if there is an extra 5,000 cars on the road, or do it in the middle of the day. I’m betting those jerks all left work early anyway.

It should not take me 40 minutes to go 7 miles, I can run faster than that! (But not in the shoes I was wearing yesterday)

Caps Go Red, White & Blue

Just when I got use to the blue, gold and black. I loved the old red, white and blue jerseys. Ehh, end of June, huh? I’m not holding my breathe. I’m sure they won’t wow me either.
ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals will unveil their new uniforms at a special Draft Day Party on Friday, June 22, held at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Va. The event will be held in conjunction with the live broadcast on Versus of the first round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, which takes place that evening in Columbus, Ohio.

The new uniforms will mark a return to a red, white and blue color scheme – the colors the Capitals wore from their first season in 1974-75 through 1994-95. The Capitals are the first team in the NHL to announce their plans to unveil their new uniforms, which are produced by Reebok and feature the Rbk EDGE Uniform System technology that was introduced at the 2007 NHL All-Star Game in Dallas. The Capitals are the first team planning to have their new uniforms on hand at the NHL Entry Draft.
Below are some fake Caps jersey’s for your viewing pleasure.

Hall Returns for Rams Now

For the price of a 2007 fifth-round pick and a swap of a third round 82th pick with a third round 84th pick, Dante Hall is now a Ram. With Shaun McDonald running with the Loins now and Kevin Curtis leaving for Philly, the Rams are going to need some one like Hall to join the receiving core. St. Louis also picked up unrestricted free agent Drew Bennett from the Titans for a six year contact. All along with rumors that the Rams will be drafting Ohio State’s WR Ted Ginn Jr.

Side note: The Rams may be looking to pick up Ricky Williams. Scott Linehan, the Rams head coach, was the offensive coordinator when Williams played for the Miami Dolphins in 2005.

Dallas Mavericks

So, do you think the Mavs will make it to the championship again?

KC and the Sunshiney Building

…a.k.a. the new Sprint Center in KC. Within the next month we’ll find out if penguins can live in the warm climate of KC as apposed to their natural habitat of Pittsburgh.

I just really rather not see the Pens move to KC. Don’t get me wrong, KC is a great place and has brought use great things like, KC Masterpiece and William Least Heat-Moon. Yeah, I don’t know either but, I did read that the city’s tap water was recently rated the cleanest among the 50 largest cities in the United States, containing no detectable impurities. So, good for them. They get a gold star for the year.

If by chance KC gets the Pens, please change the name of the team. Bring back the Scouts. Or even go gay and call them the Jazz. How about rivaling the Hurricanes and name them the Tornadoes, since KC is in “Tornado Alley”. Watch out NASCAR, the NHL might creep in on some of your most precious ad real estate spaces. During the 6 o’clock news, on the front of a t-shirt, on the guy whose trailer was shockingly and unexpectedly thrown five miles during the summer months, only because, he never thought it would had happened to him.

No, I’m sure KC is a great place.

Mario Lemieux has already been out to visit the new arena. The Anschutz Entertainment Group, who will run the arena, doesn’t seem to be stuck on the Pens. They said they’ve gotten calls from other cities. If the Pens can’t get a new arena from Pittsburgh, they might just be calling KC back. Who knows. The NHL would have to final says on if KC can host a NHL team anyways.

Second rumor is the L.A. Clippers have looked at KC.

Sabre's & Ducks Flex New Jerseys

…and I hate them. I just don’t think changing the jerseys is a good idea. Both the Ducks and Sabres just went through a jersey change two/three years ago.

Who hires these graphic artists? And why are they still employeed?

I fond this this, which is pretty sweet. Buffalo Sabre Blue & Gold Project

NBA Championship 2006

Ok, so this is the first time either team, the Dallas Mavericks or the Miami Heat have ever gotten to the NBA Championships! Dallas is flurry of crazed fans. The American Airlines center is selling tickets for no less then $500-$1000 a ticket and is already sold out for Thursday night’s championship kickoff game at 8pm.

But the real pincher is Dirk Nowitski against Shaq. We’ll see who the victor will be.
