Pizza Pussy Santa

I don’t know if very many people got the reference for that poll. So, I’ll explain it. Dave Attell said that if he ever had a child, he’s child’s name would be Pizza Pussy Santa, since everybody likes at least one of those things. I was a little curious, and I wanted to find out. And it looks like pussy took the early lead. What’s wrong? You don’t like pizza?

Looks like Perdue took the title in the Rube Goldberg Contest… again. Surprise!

“WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (UPI) — A team of engineers from Indiana’s Purdue University have been awarded $1,000 for their creation of an elaborate 156-step hamburger-making machine.

Purdue won Saturday’s annual Rube Goldberg Machine Contest, a competition in which engineering students from across the country create devices to perform basic jobs with the most possible number of steps, the Lafayette (Ind.) Journal and Courier reported.

“With all the hard work we’ve put into this machine, it’s just fantastic,” said Drew Wischer, Purdue Society of Professional Engineers team captain.

More than 1,500 people attended the competition at Purdue University to watch machines from seven U.S. universities creatively assemble hamburgers with at least one meat patty, two vegetables and two condiments in a pair of buns.

The winning machine featured King Kong scaling New York’s Empire State Building, London’s Big Ben clock and the Eiffel Tower in Paris among numerous other well-known structures. “

PHP Sessions

So, some people might had noticed that you couldn’t log into the Llama for about a week or so. Seem that no one needed to “enable cookies”. Which is a stupid error message because the problem had nothing to do with cookies, domain or browser.

Seems like all PHP sessions are cached in a file and that whole PHP session directory was located in a temp directory. Then one of the virus scanners I was testing out last week deleted the temp PHP directory, giving PHP nowhere to write it’s sessions. Giving no one a session, hence, no login sessions.

I searched online and tried out different things that were suggested. Which is what you’re supposed to do. I actually RTFM. Then when I had enough. I blamed Nebulous. I finally ended up digging through log files, fun.

So, everything is back to normal.

What started this whole thing was that I ended up with a trojan, some Pinfi.Pirate.B, I have no idea how I got it. I’ve must of had it for awhile. It attaches itself to .exe’s. My main clue was my hard drive was always full, and then CCleaner started crashing. I suggest you scan your computer if your drive is full. Read about it here, plus it has the removal tool.

I’d just run it anyways even if you think your computer is fine, you’ll be surprised. I had like 200MB left on my drive. I couldn’t download anything cause the temp directories would fill up the drive. I’m now back to 1.5GB free. My main drive is 10GB. Hope this helps someone, anyone.

Howcome My Stars Aren't Lit Up?

The stars above my avatar are always gray. They’re not all lit up like other people’s. Why is that? Granted, I’m sure there’s something in the FAQ’s about that, but you know how it is, we can’t be bothered to read through all that stuff LOL
