“It’s embarrassing,” coach Jim Haslett said. “That was bad football all the way around.”

“I’m embarrassed, as I think everybody else is,” tight end Anthony Becht added.

“It’s definitely embarrassing,” wide receiver Dane Looker said. “You come here and play on the big stage in New York … and we’re down 40-0 at halftime.”

“If someone would’ve told me that we would be down 40 points at halftime, I would’ve probably slapped them in the face,” defensive end Leonard Little said.

“I was just a little too eager to make something happen,” Darby said. “Hey, I can only blame myself. Technique-wise, I was horrible with it carrying the ball.”

I guess I’m not the only one embarrassed. The only difference is that I don’t get paid ass-loads of money on Sundays.

I also read some comments said about the Rams.

So Bad…I have a bet with a friend in next weeks niner/ram game..Loser has to burn their jersey after the game..Im getting to the point where it wont be so devestating as once thought.

Now, I own quite a few jerseys but, I also can agree that burning my Holt jersey would be much less devastating than it was two years ago.

“It’s either one or two things,” Haslett said. “We either don’t want to do it. Or we’re not good enough to do it.”

Ummm, there’s a third option… Or both.

It’s not like it was just a couple weeks ago the Rams turned around the beat the Redskins and Cowboys back to back. They had a chance to go a game back from first place in the division. I thought they had a great chance to turn the season around, quickly and shockingly.

Now they’re 2-7. Shocker. It’s one thing to lose a game. It’s totally different to not be able to score. Even KC and Cincy were able to score against the Jets.

Jim Haslett helped turn the Saint’s around but missed out of the brown bag era in New Orleans. Maybe he’ll be witness to a brown bag era in St. Louis.

The Rams need two more wins to have a better record than last season. The only team who finished worse off than the Rams last year were the Dolphins (1-15). As of Week 10 2008, Miami is 5-4. It doesn’t take years to turn a team around. Some teams just prefer to take years.
